What This Covers
Information reaches cmmcalibrationmilwaukee.com in two ways: from the requests submitted through it, and from the ordinary technical record a browser leaves behind. This policy covers both, states what each is used for, and sets out the commercial arrangement that sits behind a request. It applies to this website and to every request sent from it.

Referral and Marketing Disclosure
Two facts belong at the top of this section. cmmcalibrationmilwaukee.com is a marketing and referral website operated by Milwaukee CMM Calibration and Repair, and it is not a calibration laboratory: no CMM Calibration and Repair work is carried out by the operator of this site.
What happens instead is that requests are passed to external laboratories. Each of those laboratories holds its own accreditation, operates its own quality management system, and issues its own certificates and reports in its own name. They are chosen against evidence — current accreditation and the scope of it, capability demonstrated for the measurement being requested, and a record of delivery.
For that introduction the operator of this website is paid. The payment may be a referral fee, a fixed fee for the use of this website, or a commission on work that is placed, and two limits on it matter to you: it does not change the price you are quoted, and it gives the operator no role in performing, approving or certifying any measurement. The terms of engagement state the same thing. Disclosed, and not left to be inferred.
What This Website Collects
Information arrives here from two directions.
From you, with a request: name, company, email address and telephone number; the item, the quantity, the measurement points and the tolerances; the standard required and the turnaround needed.
From your browser, automatically: IP address, browser and device type, the referring page, and the pages viewed on this site. That is ordinary technical information and is kept in aggregate.
Payment card details form no part of either category and are not collected through this website.
Use of Information
The purpose of holding what a request contains is narrow: reviewing the request, obtaining a quotation from a laboratory able to perform the work, and corresponding about it. The server's own technical record exists only to keep the site available and secure, and to track page usage.
None of it is sold. Renting, trading, or passing it to a third party for marketing of its own is equally off the table.
Who Information Is Shared With
Three groups see request detail, and no others.
- The laboratory or laboratories asked to quote or perform the work.
- The service providers who host this website, deliver its email or provide its analytics, each acting on instructions and none permitted to use the information for its own purposes.
- A court, regulator or other body to which disclosure is required by law, and an accreditation body exercising a right of access to a performing laboratory's records.
Technical Confidentiality
Confidentiality attaches, on the accredited laboratory basis, to drawings, specifications, tolerances, measurement data and results. Only people who need the material to quote or complete the work are given access to it.
Where a compelled disclosure is made, you are told of it — unless telling you is itself prohibited.
Cookies and Measurement of Use
Cookies set here are limited to what the site needs in order to function, with aggregate visit counting layered in where analytics is enabled. Blocking them is available in most browsers and does not prevent use of this site, though a form submitted with them blocked may not be recorded correctly.
Retention
Each inquiry record is kept while it is needed to answer the request and to satisfy accounting and record-keeping obligations. After that it is deleted, or stripped of the detail that identifies you. Where a laboratory performed work, the records it holds are retained under that laboratory's own records policy.
What You Can Request
Requests to see what information is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted can be made using the routes on the contact page. A reply follows within thirty days. Where marketing email is sent it carries an unsubscribe link, and an unsubscribe request is honored on receipt.
Changes and Governing Law
Where this statement is updated, the version published at cmmcalibrationmilwaukee.com is the one that applies, and no other. In every respect this statement is governed by the laws of Wisconsin.
